Project overview

CyCity consists of 12 work packages (WP), which are divided into three themes:

Theme A: Cycle planning processes

This theme consists of five work packages. The research within Theme A deals with strategies and practical implementation processes to develop cycle traffic.

Theme B: User values

Theme B includes three work packages. The research focuses on user values and preferences in order to develop a planning tool that can give a better understanding of the quality of the cycle network in a city.

Theme C: Managing cycling infrastructure

Theme C consists of four work packages. The aim of the research is to translocate cyclists´ preferences into concrete and cost effective ways to evaluate the quality of the infrastructure in a city.
